Nissan T.C.C.A. 90G (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid with 90% Chlorine) in 50kg drum

Nissan T.C.C.A. 90G is a premium-grade stabilised chlorine from Japan, with 90% chlorine availability. T.C.C.A. is made of chlorine and isocyanuric acid (ICA). The ICA ingredient is what “stabilises” the chlorine: i.e., prevents the break down of chlorine due to UV rays from the sun. This aids to prolong the lifespan and sanitisation effect of chlorine in the pool, which is especially important in sunny countries like Singapore and/or when the pool is outdoors.

T.C.C.A. is often used for regular chlorine maintenance due to its high chlorine content and slow dissolve rate which ensures a continuous release of chlorine over time.

Nissan Chemicals is a leading manufacturer known for their high-quality chemicals worldwide. Pool Connect is proud to be their official distributor for the Singapore market.

Daily dosage for an 8-hour turnover system About 3 g per 1 m3 of water*
Drum Weight 50 kg

* Daily dosage to be taken only as a reference. With the above amount, this means a pool volume of 300 m3 needs a daily dose of 0.9 kg of Nissan T.C.C.A. 90G. Actual dosage amount depends on the pool size, turnover rate, and weather conditions. Always ensure the parameters in the next table below are met after each dosage and at the end of the day.

Free Chlorine (Residual)+ 1.0 to 3.0 mg/L
pH Range+ 7.2 to 7.8
Cyanurate+ < 100 mg/L++
Total Alkalinity 80 to 100 mg/L
Copper+ < 0.2 mg/L

+ Indicates by law.
++ Caution is to be taken not to exceed this amount as too much cyanuric acid disables the sanitisation effects of chlorine. As cyanuric acid is a component of ICA, excessive use of T.C.C.A. might lead to this.

Note: 1 mg/L = 0.001 g/L = 1 g/m3 = 1 ppm
